The Bridge to a New Smile

A new, straight, white, beautiful smile in just two visits? It’s possible with a smile makeover with all-porcelain veneers and, if necessary, porcelain dental bridges.

What will make you feel even better than a new smile? Getting that smile sooner rather than later.

A porcelain dental bridge will “bridge the gap” between one or more missing teeth using your own strong, healthy teeth as anchors.

The porcelain bridge procedure requires just two visits to our office. Here’s how your appointments will proceed:

  • Visit 1: We will prepare your teeth for your smile makeover and take an impression of your teeth to create customized all-porcelain veneers and a dental bridge, if required. By making all of the restorations at the same time, we assure that your teeth match perfectly. You will leave the office that day with a beautiful set of temporary restorations that you will love to show off with a big smile!
  • Visit 2: We bond your new custom-made, permanent, all-porcelain veneers and install your porcelain bridge in one procedure. Now your smile makeover is complete and ready for many years of enjoyment.

If you need to replace missing teeth, fill embarrassing gaps or spaces, or repair cracked or chipped teeth, a smile makeover that incorporates porcelain dental bridges will give you the dazzling smile you’ve always wanted.

About the Author:

I'm often asked what made me want to become a dentist. It probably had a great deal to do with the fact that for more than half of my life, I was embarrassed by my own teeth. Recently, my wife and I were looking through old photographs that go all the way back to our high school days (yes, I married my high school sweetheart). We began to notice that there was not one picture of me smiling where my teeth could be seen. Sadly, this was even true of our wedding photographs. After dental school, I was finally able to have my own smile corrected with porcelain veneers. What a truly life changing event. From then on I was hooked on cosmetic dentistry. I wanted to help everyone know the feeling of freedom and confidence that comes from being able to laugh and smile without hesitation. I feel particularly fortunate to have been in the field of dentistry during a period of enormous progress. Today, porcelain veneers are so lifelike that even I have a hard time telling them from the real thing. Unlike the bulky, flat white ˜"piano keys" of old, these veneers allow light to pass through and have all the tiny, subtle characteristics that you expect to see in a beautiful natural tooth.
